Nice to meet you! I’m Destiny Dickerman, Founder & Owner of The STL Mama.
I’m a mompreneur, influencer, creative genius, and toddler mom. My better half and I have been friends since grade school, but have been dating since twenty-eighteen. Kory is a Professional MMA Fighter with outstanding dedication to his sport. On the weekends, he serves as a Senior Quality Technician at Nike IHM. Kory has a blast doing what he loves, but it’s also a lot of work - strict dieting, many, many hours and occasionally days from home.
As a team, we are eager to build our assets; financial freedom is our goal. When Kory isn't training, we enjoy travel, working on projects, and spending time with our boy.
Kory and I brought Carson into the world on September 6th of 2018. He’s a whopping sixteen months old at the moment and the chattiest, happiest boy you’ll ever meet. Carson loves to sing, dance, entertain, adventure, and eat. He fancies a banana-bagel combo each morning and drinks milk like it's going out of style.
I’m a business manager by training but decided I’d be my own boss long before Carson was born.
There were many things that I adored about being a business manager in California. I loved motivating my staff, running a multi-million dollar company, making life easier for my boss, and of course, growing the business itself. I was passionate about seeing the results I orchestrated; I had a proven track record of success and a hunger to evolve.
However, being a business manager was also senselessly stressful. My creative side was no longer being challenged - and with Carson due in just four months, I realized our family needed something more. So in April of twenty-eighteen, Kory and I packed my life into my '95 Ford Explorer, and we trekked back to the midwest overnight. It was a road trip charged with countless laughs and ventures.
I’m so thankful for the time I spent as a business manager because it played a huge role in giving Kory and me the confidence to know we could still have it all. With our combined experience, ambition, and passion for success, we could chase our dreams, make big moves, raise the perfect tiny human, and thrive. Kory and I can’t imagine life without Carson, and we’re eager to have more children again (someday). But for now, we are laser-focused on building our wealth and quite possibly taking over the world.
